Three-Day Workshop on Use of Artificial Intelligence in Pedagogy and Research successfully completed.

The Research Management Cell (RMC) of Koteshwor Multiple Campus (KMC) successfully completed a three-days workshop on “Use of Artificial Intelligence in Pedagogy and Research” from 1st January to 3rd January, 2026 in Kathmandu, Nepal. The inaugural session and the first day’s other sessions were held in the campus at Jadibuti and the second and third days’ sessions along with the valedictory session of the workshop were held at Diamond Hill Resort, Panauti, Kavre.

The workshop was inaugurated by the vice-Chairman of the Campus Management Committee, Mr. Bhola Prasad Dhakal at the conference hall of the campus at Jadibuti on January 1, 2026. The session was run by Mr. Sedunath Dhakal, Head of RMC. The member of RMC. Dr. Bala Krishna Adhikari welcomed the guests and participants and also explained about the importance and modality of the workshop. The workshop was further enriched by the insightful sessions from Mr. Kabi Raj Adhikari, Executive Director of the Social Security Fund assisted by the assistant director, Mr. Jaya Krishna Dulal during the second day. As the expert of the workshop, the Assistant Professor of the Central Department of Computer Science and  IT, Tribhuwan University Mr. Bal Krishna Subedi conducted the remaining sessions about the use of AI in teaching-learning and research during the second and third day. Internal experts, Dr. Binod Nepal, Dr. Bala Krishna Adhikari and Dr. Keshab Raj Panthee facilitated during different sessions and motivated the participants for conducting the research and contributing on both KMC Research Journal and KMC Nepali Journal. The secretory of University Grants Commission (UGC), Nepal, Prof. Dr. Gyan Bahadur Thapa was present as the Chief Guest during the second and third days sessions along with the special guest, Mr. Satrughna Prasad Gupta, chairman of Nepal Public Campus Association.  

Members of the Campus Management Committee, all faculty members and administrative staff of Koteshwor Multiple Campus actively participated, making the workshop highly interactive, practical, and impactful. Speaking on the valedictory session as the chief guest, the secretory of UGC, Prof. Dr. Gyan Bahadur Thapa congratulated the organizer for successfully conducting such workshop on digital system specially focusing on AI. He also assured the support from the UGC for such programs. Similarly, the special guest, Mr. Satrughna Prasad Gupta, Chairman of Nepal Public Campus Association congratulated the RMC of Koteshwor Multiple Campus for successfully conducting that workshop. The campus chief, Dr. Prakash Pokharel emphasized on the promotion of research culture among the faculties. He also assured to increase the research fund for the faculties for journal writing and conducting the mini research. He also thanked the chief guest and other guests and experts for giving their valuable time and also thanked the Research Management Cell for completing the workshop during the valedictory session. The vice-chairman of the campus, Mr. Bhola Prasad Dhakal extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Honorable Chief Guest, special guest, IT Expert, RMC team, faculty members, and administrative staff for their valuable contributions and cooperation in making this workshop a grand success.
